Fundación ONCE ha concedido una decena de becas a personas con discapacidad dentro de su programa ‘Por Talento Digital’, iniciativa de ayudas a la formación tecnológica que pretende mejorar el acceso a empleos cualificados de ciudadanos con discapacidad. La Universidad a Distancia de Madrid, UDIMA, es una de las instituciones académicas cuyos estudiantes se beneficiarán de estas becas.

En un comunicado difundido este lunes por Fundación ONCE se explica que 'Por Talento Digital' se propone ayudar a las personas con discapacidad a adquirir las competencias y habilidades tecnológicas necesarias para encajar en los perfiles profesionales que tienen mayor demanda en el mercado, al tiempo que quiere también “reducir la brecha digital de género”.

Los beneficiarios de las ayudas concedidas, que cubren como máximo el 80% del coste total de la formación, cursarán estudios de impresión 3D y aplicaciones profesionales de drones, diseño digital (web y app), Marketing y Comunicación Digital o de diseño y creación de videojuegos, entre otras materias.
