El presidente de la Cámara de Comercio, Industria y Servicios de Madrid, Ángel Asensio, valoró este martes el esfuerzo inversor y comprometido con el desarrollo de República Dominicana del Grupo Educativo CEF.- UDIMA, que decidió abrir en 2019 su primer centro académico internacional en el país caribeño.

Lo hizo durante su intervención en el cuarto Foro Hispano Dominicano de Empresarios y Comerciantes, celebrado este martes en Madrid, y con presencia del presidente de la escuela de negocios CEF.- y la Universidad UDIMA, Arturo de las Heras.

En este marco, durante el evento se hicieron reiteradas menciones por parte de los ponentes y representantes institucionales de la oportunidad que representa para República Dominicana y su futuro como polo de atracción inversora en la región la creciente preparación de sus ciudadanos por medio de cualificados programas de formación.

Sería el caso, por ejemplo, de la reciente Licenciatura aprobada y ofertada por CEF.- Santo Domingo en Empresa, Tecnología y Emprendimiento, cuya finalidad principal es preparar a los dominicanos en las oportunidades que abren las nuevas tecnologías a la evolución de unas empresas que ya no puede ser ajenas al proceso de transformación digital en curso.

El presidente de la República Dominicana, Luis Abinader, se desplazó el mes de julio de 2021 hasta Novo Centro (Av. Lope de Vega) para inaugurar las instalaciones allí situadas de CEF.- Santo Domingo, filial dominicana del Grupo Educativo CEF.- UDIMA, instituto especializado de administración de empresas que avanza en la preparación de los líderes organizacionales del presente y del futuro y ligado a la Fundación HERGAR.

En aquel momento, Arturo de las Heras expresó su satisfacción por haber liderado el establecimiento de CEF.- Santo Domingo, puesto que confía en el orden institucional que impera en la República Dominicana y su seguridad jurídica, dos de las principales razones que impulsaron a la entidad académica a elegir este país como primer destino de progresión internacional.
